Raw Kelp is a natural, fully water soluble seaweed extract, derived from ascophyllum nodosum (kelp). Kelp is an extremely popular growth enhancer for plants. It contains a variety of growth factors that push plant growth as far as possible. These include auxins, gibberellins and cytokinins. Auxins are plant hormones that promote cell division and growth. Gibberellins are plant hormones that stimulate cell enlargement, and cytokinins are plant hormones that promote cell division.

Kelp also contains a variety of other nutrients that can benefit plants, including nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and an array of trace minerals.
